Overview
Save The Great South Bay is a local 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to restoring the health of the bay and strengthening South Shore communities. As the marketing coordinator, I am responsible for strategizing, designing, and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns across print, social media, web, and email. My work focuses on raising awareness about our mission, engaging the community, and supporting fundraising and outreach efforts through clear, consistent, and impactful messaging.
Spring Donation Match Campaign
Led a successful $20,000 fundraising campaign in partnership with Cornucopia Health Foods. The campaign leveraged nostalgic imagery and community-centered messaging to connect with supporters and highlight our environmental programs. Executed a multi-channel outreach strategy including a targeted print mailer to nearly 1,000 recipients, coordinated social media content, and segmented email campaigns. The initiative met its fundraising goal and significantly boosted community engagement.

Giving Tuesday Kick Off with Steve Kuhn
To kick off our Giving Tuesday Campaign, I interviewed local clamming legend, Steve Kuhn. I wanted to spark a feeling of nostalgia for our audience, so I asked him to reflect on the Bay in the 70s, when clamming was at its peak. Due to pollution, the Bay is not the same anymore, and we want to make that clear to our audience. They received it well, and I was excited to have our audience engaged in discussion about the memories as well as the issues that the Bay faces today.

The Oyster Ball Spot on News 12
The Oyster Ball is our annual fundraising gala. I was tasked to make a 30-second TV spot for News 12. I wrote the copy and edited the footage.
