Schaefer Beer
Our task was to revive Schaefer, a classic New York beer brand popular in the 1970's, and make it appealing to Gen Z. We conceptualized, shot footage, and edited this 30 second TV spot.
Bring back the classics
Our concept tells the story of a NYC "It girl"who has an eye for all things vintage. Since thrifting has become increasingly popular amongst Gen-Z, we decided to make that a key part of the spot. She goes to a thrift store and finds a Schaefer sign that inspires her to buy the beer for her friend's rooftop party that she attends later that night. Iconic shots of NYC are included to reinforce the idea that Schaefer is a New York beer. Our tagline "Bring back the classics" encourages viewers to bring back classics like rock music, bell bottom jeans, and of course Schaefer's beer.
